The Photographs


Nearly all my photographs are of found subjects taken from the everyday. These subjects may or may not be of intrinsic interest or visual appeal, it is the part they play in the final image which is the determining factor. This approach means that I seldom work to a brief in terms of subject matter, though in the longer term themes do appear, and this is how the photographs are presented in the gallery.

In editing my photographs I tend towards enhancement rather than manipulation, so that the final image reflects the image as found and retains its photographic integrity. The production of a high quality print is the main objective of my work.


The Photographer

I am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and member of Atrium, an independent group of Surrey based photographers.
